This publication brings together two essays that delve into two central concepts of his practice: appearance and simulation as strategies of resistance, survival, and power. The first, by Sergio González Varela, addresses the notion of simulation from the perspective of social anthropology. The second, written by Sofía Olascoaga, takes the form of a "logbook" that records the account of a crew and, in reality, serves as a testimony of the ship's production team and the pieces it houses.

Together, the work proposes to fracture the visual, historical, and political conventions of modernity.
