Have you ever seen a ship crash? by Eduardo Donjuán and Sol Oosel reflects on the accident as a slow process, where time and perception are transformed before the disaster.
As the exhibition closing event of Temporary Advantage by Mauro Giaconi, Arte Abierto presents Have you ever seen a ship crash?, a stage piece that combines Eduardo Donjuán's monologue with the music of Sol Oosel. In this performance, these two artists, far from understanding the accident as a sudden outburst, the work proposes to think of it as a slow, almost imperceptible process that occurs while no one is watching. Through the word, sound and time that is stretched and deformed, the piece invites us to reflect on waiting, the transformation of perception and the certainty that, in everyday life, disaster begins long before we notice it.
Producer in the past, screenwriter in the present, Eduardo Donjuan combines his work in writing with a constant stage practice: monologues and performances that delve into comedy, memory and everyday life (he hates the word “investigate”).
