An invitation to pause and listen to what is happening around you. Through the haiku, this workshop opens up a space to explore writing as a form of mindfulness, sensitivity, and connection with the present moment.
As part of the Desert Poetryprogram, we will feature poet Salvador Alvarado, who invites us to explore the Haiku as a way to capture a fleeting moment in brief, meaningful poems.
Using this poetic form created over 500 years ago, The Moment in Three Verses is an introductory workshop on writing Haiku , open to anyone interested in writing.
The workshop will include observation and listening exercises, guiding each participant through creative prompts to translate every image and sensation into words.
Space is limited, so we suggest reserving your spot by sending a message to our social media channels or directly via WhatsApp at +52 624 235 0010.
