To celebrate Slow Art Day 2026, Arte Abierto invites you to the journaling workshop "Chronicles of the Collection: Copy Paste Outdoors." Come create chronicles with photos and clippings, translating digital copy-pasting into the physical world through the works of the Arte Abierto Collection located at ARTZ.
Within the framework of Slow Art Day 2026, Open Art invites you to participate in Chronicles of the collection: outdoor copy paste, a workshop of Journaling to create visual stories with photos and cutouts. The proposal is to transfer the logic of digital “copy-paste” to the physical plane, taking inspiration from the works of the Open Art Collection exhibited at ARTZ.
Has it happened to you that, after walking around a place or seeing an object, you stop noticing its details? This workshop, led by the Open Art team, is an invitation to slow down and rediscover our environment with curiosity. The activity is part of the Slow Art Day CDMX and it will take place this coming April 11th.
We will take as a starting point the pieces of the collection to carry out a creative exercise of Journaling. Through photographs, cutouts and texts, we will capture our own chronicles, applying the concept of “cut and paste” (Ctrl+X/Ctrl+V) directly in real life.
