TRAZO
TRAZO is a contemporary dance series that presents in each edition a thematic selection of short-format solos and duets in spaces not designed for dance. The series seeks to give visibility to contemporary dance through intervention in the physical space and architecture of a specific place, thinking of it as a possibility of creation and reading, bringing dance closer to places not designed for this discipline.
For its 5th edition presented at Múltiple, in addition to the dance performances, the program is accompanied by different activities such as a dance laboratory, a talk on the space-body relationship with special guests and a selection of video dance pieces.

Body practices in relation to space have had different platforms, from performance and dance or in some registers of body movement, the space-body relationship has a back-and-forth configuration.
What happens when the spatial container is not necessarily the limitation of a movement? The conversation aims to investigate the practices that show the possibilities of this relationship.

Some of these dance pieces are planned to take place in the surroundings of Arte Abierto, dialoguing with its architectural spaces and sculptures.

* PAOLA SANTOSCOY (México, 1974)
Es licenciada en Historia del Arte por Universidad Iberoamericana, y cuenta con una maestría en Estudios Visuales en el California College of the Arts, San Francisco. Dirigió del Museo Experimental el Eco, en la ciudad de México del 2012 hasta el 2023. Fungió como curadora adjunta de la 8ª Bienal de Mercosur, 2011, que tiene lugar en Porto Alegre, Brasil. Se ha desempeñado como curadora en distintos espacios de exhibición en la ciudad de México: La Panadería (2000-2001), Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil (2001-2003) y el Museo Tamayo Arte Contemporáneo (2004-2007). También ha realizado proyectos y ensayos curatoriales para instituciones internacionales como Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlín; Fundación Proa, Buenos Aires; GAMeC, Bérgamo y Piano Nobile, Ginebra. Colabora regularmente en publicaciones de arte contemporáneo.

** JOSHUA SÁNCHEZ (México, 1989)
Investigador y curador con maestría en Historia del arte, especialidad en estudios curatoriales, por la UNAM. Está interesado, en una aproximación artística y curatorial, de temas como la invisibilidad, la relocalización y la destrucción. Actualmente trabaja como curador en jefe del Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes.
*** NICOLÁS POGGI (México, 1974)
Director, coreógrafo, creador, intérprete, docente y gestor. La práctica de Nicolás Poggi gira en torno a la improvisación, la coreografía y la performance. Su búsqueda parte desde el cuerpo como materia primordial al momento de crear y buscar nuevos lenguajes para la escena. Se desempeña en el campo de la danza y el teatro físico. Nacido en la Patagonia Argentina en 1982, reside en México desde 2012. Realizó su formación dancística en Argentina, estudiando en IUPA, la Escuela Municipal de Danzas de Bahía Blanca y el Taller de Danza Contemporánea del Teatro San Martín. En México fundó y dirige la compañía de teatro físico “Motos Ninja”. Fue distinguido como beneficiario de PECDA Jalisco 2022/23 como coreógrafo con trayectoria. Creó ydirigió “ElBobo”, “10temasparamorir”, “Afuera, reconstrucción de unaobra”, “Lo que no se ve”, entre otras.
