A paper theatre show based on the book “Leonardo da Vinci’s Kitchen Notes” by Shelagh and Jonathan Routh, which shows the little-known side of Leonardo da Vinci as a food lover, cook, ephemeral owner of a tavern and master of parties and banquets at the Milanese court for thirty years.
Recipe:
A bit of history, a generous portion of Italian genius and a part of paper theatre with another of live music are mixed together. Let it marinate in the cool of the night and we will obtain a compact show that will take us to immerse ourselves in one of Leonardo Da Vinci’s deepest passions: cooking and its secrets.

Troka is a robot made from different machine parts: it has a radio antenna head, two light bulbs in its eyes, its mouth is a horn, it has one foot like a locomotive, another like a tractor, and on its back it has airplane wings.
This Mexican superhero robot was the protagonist of a children’s radio program created by Germán List Arzubide and set to music by Silvestre Revueltas in the early 1930s, in order to bring Mexican children closer to the city’s new technological achievements and advances, such as industrial production or new means of transportation and communication. Troka el Poderoso is “the spirit of mechanical things.”
This adaptation of Troka el Poderoso is a miniature theater show based on the original character from the beginning of the 20th century, with poetry by Manuel Maples Arce, Germán List Arzubide, León Felipe and Pablo Neruda; engravings by Ramón Alva de la Canal, Julio Prieto and Elvira Gascón; and music by maestro Silvestre Revueltas.
